Programmatic EIS Public Meetings

Public Meetings on the Draft PEIS

Public open house meetings were held at four locations in March of 2012:

  • Silt, Colorado – March 12, 2012
  • Vernal, Utah – March 13, 2012
  • Salt Lake City, Utah – March 14, 2012
  • Rock Springs, Wyoming – March 15, 2012

Meetings were held at 7:00 p.m. at each location. At each meeting, the BLM presented background information about the Draft PEIS and related activities. Tables were set up with individual specialists available to answer questions about the Draft PEIS. Each meeting was a forum for the BLM to provide an overview of the document, respond to questions, and take written public comments.
