Interactive Oil Shale and Tar Sands Spatial Data in Geographic Information Systems Format

Click the link below to download GIS data used in spatial analysis and maps supporting the 2012 Draft PEIS, including maps of lands that would be available for application for leasing for commercial oil shale and tar sands development under the four alternatives analyzed. These files are part of the Draft PEIS and may be subject to change based on comments received.

These files are intended for detailed viewing and analysis by Geographic Information System (GIS) professionals with commercial GIS software. The files included in this compressed (.ZIP) archive are GIS data layers suitable for use with GIS software, and are detailed in the accompanying Shapefile Description document.
